I'm currently 9 hours into an MA in Linguistics and TESOL. I speak both Spanish and English. I tried taking non-credit classes in Japanese but found I just don't have the time. My current focus is on the morphophonological details of English. I have most of the International Phonetic Alphabet memorized (and I teach it to my students at school).

Language intricacies are truly interesting stuff. Consider the fact that it is the single characteristic that we as humans share over the rest of creation. We are able to meaningfully communicate with WORDS!
Jesus is coming back. And boy, is he PISSED!

Treat every new person you meet as if they will be an important influence on you later (you know, love thy neighbor?)
