I had some leftover pastry today after making a savoury pie for dinner and I had some mandarin oranges to hand too...
1. Roll out pastry until fairly thin
2. Cut circles out of the pastry, (use a cup and cut around it)
3. Line three segments of mandarin in the centre of the pastry circle
4. Sprinkle a pinch of ground cinnamon over the mandarin in each circle
5. Bring the two sides of pastry together and pinch along the top to seal the pasty
6. Brush with a little beaten egg and sprinkle a pinch of sugar over each pasty
7. Bake for around 20 minutes at gas mark 6!
Hope you enjoy them as much as I did!

Sorry, maybe just me... What is "gas mark 6"?
Trying to create a world, even in words, is good occupational therapy for lunatics who think they're God, and an excellent argument for Polytheism. -S.M. Stirling

Gas Mark 6 is about 400˚F or 200˚C on other ovens! I have a gas oven at home.
