I thought I would share this, Stuart McClean is a Canadian performer who essentially travels around Canada telling stories. His most famous stories are about a fictional family in Toronto consisting of two parents (Dave and Morely) and To kids (Stephanie and Sam).
Some of the stories will have you rolling over laughing, and with some you will cry at the same time. The most famous one is called Dave cooks a turkey. If you can get your hands on any of the books or downlaods, they are definitely owrth a read through, I won't post too much because of copyright.
However, on the story exchange site (http://www.cbc.ca/vinylcafe/story_exchange.php) you can read stories from Canadians, some of them are pretty funny.
Hope you enjoy! I think he has started the occasional tour in NY and Buffalo, if he comes down your way, it is definitely worth the ticket price.
