Before I go on I want to say a few things.

I am not trying to make anyone leave the Democratic Party. And by the Gods Above, Below and Around - I am certainly not endorsing the Republican party. I am a registered Independant. I feel that both parties are bad and the rot goes down to the core. The are just bad on different things. And that is sad that we have let it get to this state that we only seriously consider two canidates and of them we try to choose the lesser of two evils.

What I am advocating is three things:

1 Don't vote Party line simply because you are a member of that party. Blind faith will get you run into a wall.
2 No matter how you believe you got it, use the brain you have been given - don't buy media hype, do your own research weigh all the options. Then if you still feel comfortable voting one way or the other do so.
3 VOTE! Even if there is nothing you want to vote for, there is surely something you want to vote against.

OK as promised here is the list. The list was posted on the DSA website until 1999 when it was taken down because the "negative conotation the American people still associate with Socialists". Which means the DSA are failures from the get go as one of their prime mission statements was to eradicate the negative viewpoints about socialism. The material is somewhat dated but many members are still in office and are senior in important committees and subcommittees. The ones replaced are offices still held by Democrats - but they aren't advertising their affliation -if any- to the DSA anymore.

How does any of this effect Paganism?

Unless some one can explain that, then I will lock the topic. As it is not relevant to this site.
