No no, not that bad ;)

Actually, I'm a big fan of that picture!

I have a back-up avatar for the time when someone chooses mine, now.

Strange. It WAS there last time I looked.

Could you PM your mail address to me? I am not sure if I have it.

FOUND IT. My computer is playing at silly b*****s today. :-?

EDIT: I have found why. Your E-Mail does not show up if I am not logged in. Mine, and others do. The things you learn. :-D

NOW IT'S BACK? :-? :dontknow:

I used to do the medeaval fairs here, until they became too commercialised.

When my Wife started, about 15 years ago, it really HAD to be medeaval.

Broom makers, woodcarvers, black smiths, bakers etc etc. It was a "throwing out of the market" offence to be not dressed authenticaly, with authentic tools, and selling authentic goods.

Now you get stalls selling these model lead soldiers, but thats O.K because they're medeaval period ( :-? ), shop bought clothes/knitwear, in MOST inauthentic colours, stall holders wearing medeaval tops with jeans and trainers, etc etc.

So we decided to stick with the Napoleonic and Wiking.

Ah. Next weekend we are in Holland ( :-D :-D :-D ), for a Napoleonic event. THIS year they are having an authentic Napoleonic period market.
Which is a new idea.

As it is my Pioneers and I that are doing the Military Police for the weekend...THEY WILL BE AUTHENTIC. That is part of our duty's, to ensure the corectness of dress, equipment, drill, etc.
