Hello from Troubadour

Post by Troubadour1423 » Mon Feb 11, 2008 5:35 pm

Hello there. I'll be honest. I'm Roman Catholic, but I have been looking into Pagan religions lately out of personal interest. I may convert, but decisions like this cannot be made lightly so I hope to learn much more in the days to come. Don't worry, I'm not a fundie ;) . I'm just a bit confused :-? and looking for answers at the moment.

Welcome to the Library!

There's nothing wrong with being confused. I imagine we're all confused at one point or another in our lives. The Library is open to all comers, especially those who are seeking knowledge.

Feel free to make yourself at home and ask questions.

The one thing I can say is that you'll probably get 10 different answers to every question you ask as everybody's journey is a little bit different than the person next to them.

Again, welcome! I hope your stay here is worthwhile.

Hello and welcome

I was raised Catholic, and, honestly, Paganism and Catholicism are similar. Even more honestly, ALL religions are similar.

Enjoy your stay, and I hope you learn what you have come here seeking.

Welcome! :-D

I hope you find your way through the sometimes confusing sites!

It helps if you take one step at a time though, try going for beginning explanations and then if your intrigued, go ahead and go into some specifics.

A good source is religioustolerance.org, Right along with this site! :-D

Welcome. For my bit, when I thought about coverting (from Christian to Neo-Pagan), I waited years before I finally took that step, and realized that it was home, and a part of my life that I couldn't deny.

In fact, I was in Church on Christmas eve, when I witnessed an understanding that put me in a different catagory than everybody else there. It's strange to think that, this many years later, it was in a church devoted to the Christian God, that I finally made my choice to worship the Goddess. It was wonderful.

Anyways, nevermind my ramblings. :-D We tend to do that. Welcome and I hope that we can help to make your path a little clearer, regardless of which path you decide to travel down. :-D
