Interesting Quote

Post by Dark Waters » Thu Oct 29, 2009 6:35 pm

One of my search pages has a Random Einstein quote generator, and it came up with one that I hadn't seen before and was pretty interesting to me.

"What really interests me is whether God had any choice in the creation of the world."

Einstein always makes me think - even when I'd rather not.
I'm living in the Shadows and the Night,
Wrapped in warm darkness, safe and sure.
My Path shines by the Moon's fragile light,
It frees my Mind and keeps my Heart pure.

Obviously Boredom and Lonliness.
Whoever says that the Gods are beyond such are not really well thought-out; For the Gods wouldn't have such a big to-do with the affairs of Mortals if they weren't... Right?
"Water, water, everywhere,
And all the boards did shrink;
Water, water, everywhere,
Nor any drop to drink."

Fantastic, and something that can't be answered with a simple "Yes" or "No."

Thanks for the brain candy this morning :)

I found this one about a year ago... I liked it so much, I use it on my writers forum!

"The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the sower of all true art and all science. He to whom this emotion is a stranger, who can no longer pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead; his eyes are closed."
-Albert Einstein
Trying to create a world, even in words, is good occupational therapy for lunatics who think they're God, and an excellent argument for Polytheism. -S.M. Stirling
