We had a hacker or two who messed up a lot of older posts... ones we haven't read for a while. If you see anything that looks that out of place, let us know. We caught all of the real obvious ones (like the ones where the titles were changed to something obscene or in current hot topic threads) but may have missed many more.

I'm pretty big myself. Maybe like the meeting of two battleships. (without the angst).
I think, though that there is sometimes a slight culture difference between Scotland, where I grew up, Sweden, where I was brought up, Germany where I live, and the American usage of English. For which I apologise in advance. We do not meet many REAL Americans here,(tourists do not count EVERY one is a pain as a tourist, no less the Germans), so talking to yo'll on your home turf is an eye opener as to just how differently English can be interpreted. "jumped on", here, I meant on the case, rather than the person.
Keep Paganing.

Ragnar: I think he understood exactly what you meant, as the expression is pretty common. He probably just wanted to make a word play out of it.
"I just hope angels in the forest
Saw me praying in my own soul
Death is unfair - That's real pain
Remoun you...Am I almost dead?
I miss my hope; My will to live
My last farewell forever, all alone"

I really hate it when i tell people i am wiccan/witch and they automaticaly think...SATAN WORSHIPER!!!!!! :smt077

I was in speech team this year and did an informative speech on Wicca. mostly getting rid of the stereotypes. biggrin:

Now alot of my friends are getting interested in it and ask me about it all the time.

It makes me happy! =D> (srry got a little smilie happy)

Ah, but see, "Wicca" is a BRANCH of paganism. It's a specific path. Not all who study witchcraft are Wiccan...just like not all Christians are Catholic.
So, using Wiccan as an all-encompassing term is misleading. Because then, if you get into shamanism, or Norse, or other stuff not covered, you've misled someone.

When I'm speaking in broad terms, I simply say "I"m Pagan." If pushed for more detail, I will admit to being an Elemental Witch.
You say "Witch" like it's a bad thing!
