Smoothies are the easiest things in the world to make. You just need fruit and greens, and a blender. I have a little magic bullet blender, and this is what I drink every morning for breakfast. Don't get turned off by the greens. You can't taste them, and it's healthier than a salad because you don't get bloated from your body breaking down improperly chewed cellulose. My niece loves them!!!
1 peeled apple, cut into bits
1 banana, cut into bits
1 large handful various leafy greens (organic salad mix?)
1 cup or more soy milk (you'll have to experiment with what consistency you like)
1 tsp sunflower oil (helps you absorb vitamins)
A few shakes cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp real vanilla
Blend that baby until it's smooth and beautiful! YUM!
You can substitute any of the ingredients. Oh man! try with watermelon! YUM!!! Use your imagination!

Hmmm, not a big veggie person myself, but this actually looks really good. I'll have to give it a try this summer.

Re: Green Smoothies
MMMrrrmmm smoothies!! I make green drinks everyday...when I'm at home that is. Although sometimes we do not have fresh greens so i mix my fruit/ fruit juices with my handy-dandy liquid chlorophyll (plant blood,
I calls it)!!! it sure does turn green...or dark brownish green..it all depends
