Hi

Post by Terri » Mon Aug 27, 2007 9:54 pm

Well I'm not too sure what I'm supposed to be saying about myself really ...
I'm 26, will be 27 next month. I'm married - my husband and I have been together for 7 years, married for 4. I have 2 kids - my daughter, Shelby, is 7; and my son, Dale, is almost 6. I was born and raised in Williams Lake, BC, Canada. I'm a full time stay at home mom, although my kids are temporarily not living with me (long story which I don't care to get into right now). I'm Solitary, but not by choice. Everyone's still in the broom closet here
Anyways, that's all I can really think of. If there's anything else you'd like to know, feel free to message me anytime :)

Hello and welcome ^__^ What is it that brought you to where you are now? Meaning, how did Paganism find you? Are you a Wiccan, or just a general Pagan, or something else? :D

You look so young in your picture! I never had guessed 27

Omg will you marry me? :-D thanks I appreciate the compliment!!
I guess I'm just a general Pagan, although Dianic Wicca has always intrigued me.
I was 14 when I was introduced to the Pagan world by my best friend at the time :)
Over the years I've read quite a few books on the subject, performed several small rituals, and even dated a guy who ended up becoming a Pagan priest (of course AFTER we broke up  ).
Quite a few of my friends claim to be Pagan, although we've never gotten together to discuss it even. Ah well, another reason I turn to the internet!

Welcome. I can't wait to hear more from you. And I understand completely the solitary thing. I know of a few pagans here in town, yet can I meet up with any of them for the life of me?

Well welcome in. There are many "general pagans" here so I am sure you will find some kindred spirits.

I thought you looked young too. It'steh Canadian winters...they keep us young!

Gee Willow, you and I really harp on the whole Canada is Great thing, don't we? ;) I wonder, do the rest get sick of us? But if they came here and saw... lol... Maybe as Canadians we are just overly proud of withstanding the weather that so many complain over. Such as the old idea that we all live in igloos^_^

You mean you don't live in igloos?

They don't need them. They all wear flanelette pajamas. It's a bit like living in an arctic sleeping bag with sleeves.

Welcome again Terri. Hope you enjoy it here.

I do harp on Canada, I am hopelessly in love with my country. I'll try and calm down a little though, I don't want to scare other people off the board.

I just remeber when travelling, whenever we met another canadian we were usually instant friends.

As for igloos..well, they are quite warm really. I guess with global warming they will be obsolete soon. In reality we are wusses when it comes to the heat. People who live in how countries amaze me.

It is only recently that I've been able to stand the heat, and then only if I'm on a 90% + raw diet.

I love the cold. I can run around in the snow in a bikini, and roll in it if I am dared, but the heat...

I'm an insane Canadian...

I'm a heat loving junkie! :-D

Honestly, I still look around at 5 degrees Celcius and think, "Hmmm, it's chilly out, I need a jacket or a sweater."

But I promise I'm getting better... It's been years since I went down to California one summer and actually used the downy comforter to sleep with because I was "too cold" .

Yep... That's me... I'm so living in the wrong country, at least considering my living condition "requirements". :-D
