Ah you're coming to my neck of the woods, redneck ;) If you have free time, check out the Vancouver Art Museum, Stanley Park, and English Bay, which gives you the opportunity to walk along Davies from one end to the other, my favourite street. I try to see these when I go to the city.

You met a lady: Wonderful ^_^ She must be nice :)

Whoo-whoo, watch it, people who visit Canada want to stay.

I liked Vancouver a lot, a very temperate and laid back city, best place in Canada for Sushi.

congrats on the lady friend!

best place in Canada for Sushi.

Oooooo baby you've got that right!

And amazing artists found on street corners and outside pubs selling their art - and it is worthy of a lot of money if set properly - for cigs, change, or, in all honesty, in return for a smile or just for free.

Ahh one man in particular we would always find outside the pubs drawing pictures of eagles, and they were amazing. My friend, who is eagle-crazy, has bought a few for about $20 each. He does them so fast, too!

Glad to hear things are going well for you.

Didn't know you were PAC Fleet. For some reason, I always thought you were Atlantic.

Well that figures. Murphy's law right? In any case, the toilet's better than rock bottom.

Find some buddies, hit some dirt, have a good time and a good night's sleep. And while I know it sucks, try to look on the bright side. This time, it only took two months to discover that it wasn't meant to be. That's a lot better than a couple years, right? Small consolation I know, but I hope it helps.

As for Brass, - try getting stuck on a training base when you thought you were done with the military. I was saluting colonels about every other step. Fun times.
